Ask HN: Should AI be making decisions, or just make sure you see what matters?
AI 摘要
Everyone is rushing to develop an “AI chief of staff” which replaces the human role entirely. But I feel like that’s taking the wrong perspective altogether. Decisions must remain human-made. The thing that’s missing is timely, relevant information. Right now, leadership has to hop through multiple dashboards, lengthy slides or pdf documents, and platforms trying to find the context of reality of a situation. Each platform holds some data and nobody ever pulls information from all of them. In addition, LLMs mean starting from zero every time – explaining the background context, teaching skills and configuring MCP before you can start doing something. We are working on something better. Connect your tools (CRM, Slack, calls, issue tracker), and we’ll keep track of all the context and changes for you. We’ll monitor external environment as well – news, filings, events on your customers and your own profile, competition. When something important happens, you’ll get notified and links to the sources. Otherwise, it remains silent and let you focus on the decisions – while we handle everything else. We are early in development and discovery process ourselves, so please share your thoughts with us: Do you face this problem too? How do you handle it today? What would make you wary of a tool like this? Would you use it once it’s ready?
