Ask HN: How would AI kill us all?

I've watched a lot of doomer videos and read many articles but it's never really clear how this will play out. I don't see a terminator ending so I don't think it will be rise of the machines styles. Are people worried about AI actually taking over or just allowing nefarious humans to do mass harm using the intelligence it provides?
